The idea
Every tennis and padel ball has a limited playing life.
Bålsækk began with a simple question:
What can happen to the ball after the final point?
Instead of treating worn balls as waste, we explore how they can become part of new products connected to the same clubs, courts and communities where they were first used.

Who it is for
People
Bålsækk was founded by Henrik Norvald — a Norwegian entrepreneur, tennis coach, tournament organiser and chairman of Halden Tennis Club. Seeing worn balls leave the court year after year led to a broader design question: how could they become a useful, visible part of what comes next?
Janja Humar is engaged as CEO and is operational in the day-to-day running of Bålsækk, helping turn that question into a focused family of products.
